Agriculture is used to irrigate crops, but it also affects the water quality for it having too much sallt in water making it not good for drinking. 69% of agriculture take up most of the world's water uses.

energy production plays an impact with water making electricity, Energy used by people , use about 23% of water.

In domestic supplies water us stored in dams then is transported to towns and cities. Riverside towns take the water directly from rivers.

Recreational rivers are valuable. Water skiing, swimming abd fishing are some of the things people enjoy.

Water Disposal use water to dilute pollution. Sewage from inland communities release treatments in water. The Quality of the treatment us very important for the water.

The water tank in australia hasn't been newly introduced into most rural areas of australia. High water usages lead to drought for the inconveince of irrigation and domestic farmers especially.

urban water tanks in australia have been encouraged by governments to use less water and  that water restrictions will be a necessity on living in droughted parts of australia that need water. Most homes in australia now have water tanks that provides them with the inconveince on saving water for there lands resources.

Sydney is taking to water tanks like a duck to water.Like the rest of Australia, Sydney and the rest of NSW is finding its water catchments at very low levels, and introducing water restrictions during Summer. As with much of urban Australia, local authorities have moved a long way from opposition to water tanks on urban blocks...
